Cross Country Schedule Set – Purdue Boilermakers

WEST LAFAYETTE, IND. – The Purdue cross country team’s 2022 schedule has been announced, which features eight meets from September-November.

The eight-meet schedule includes five regular-season competitions before a three-race postseason. The Boilermakers will compete in the state of Indiana four times, Oklahoma twice and Illinois and Michigan once.

The 2022 season once again begins on September 2 at the Valparaiso Open in Valparaiso, Indiana. Two weeks later the boilermakers make their first of two trips to Terre Haute, Indiana, for the John McNichols Invitational. It is hosted by Indiana State on September 17.

September concludes at Notre Dame at the Joe Piane Invitational in South Bend, Indiana, on September 30.

Purdue will get an early look at this year’s NCAA Championships course on October 15 at Oklahoma State’s Weis Crockett Invitational in Stillwater, Oklahoma. The regular season concludes one week later at the Illini Open in Champaign, Illinois, on October 21.

The postseason commences with the Big Ten Cross Country Championships on October 28. Michigan will host this year’s conference championships in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Purdue returns to Terre Haute for the NCAA Great Lakes Regional on November 11. One week later, the NCAA Cross Country Championships are set for Stillwater, Oklahoma, on November 19.

The indoor and outdoor track & field seasons follow, from December-March and March-June. Those schedules will be announced at a later date.
