Second Rockford building purchased by Abortion Clinic Doctor

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – A Madison-based Doctor, Dr. Dennis Christensen, told 23 News on Thursday that he bought the former Animal Emergency Clinic, at 4236 Maray Drive. The property was purchased on June 14, 2022.

At this point, the building is undergoing renovations, and the future is undecided.

“Statistically, you’re more likely to die from being pregnant with unwanted pregnancy than you are terminating an unwanted pregnancy,” he said.

Christensen had intended on opening a clinic this week at the first building he bought on 611 Auburn Street, but it was condemned by the city.

“I’m not at all convinced that people really have any legitimate complaint with the activity, it’s more just a political cry for attention. This has been a divisive social issue since the Greeks and Romans, and it’s always been used as a wedge, political issue,” Christensen told 23 News.

The full story with Dr. Christensen will be on our shows tonight at 5 and 6 p.m.
