Raymond Edward Sykes, 71, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2022 at home in Rockford, IL. He is survived by his father Raymond F.; former wife Barbara L. and their children Jason R., Janice M., Jeffrey R., and grandson Nathaniel J.; siblings Kathleen M Poss, Dorothy J Nilsson and James F Sykes and his many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his mother Dorothy Mary Sykes (Flood), aunt Jean (Fred) Greco, sister Patricia A. Keesecker Mandragon, brother-in-law Jim Poss, and niece Kristen Nilsson.
Memorial services will be held in the future.
