All you ghosts and goblins, if you’re looking to get spooked this month the Coronado Theater in Rockford, Illinois has 2-hour spirited ghost tours you won’t want to miss.
If you have an open schedule tonight, from 6-8pm you have the chance to experience a haunting organ concert along with hearing supernatural tales from staff and guides at the Coronado Theater! You’ll get to see a skit with Dracula on the big stage, too.
When I was younger I loved haunted houses, spooky trails, and anything that could get my arm hair to stand up. This? Yeah, definitely something my younger self would be totally down to do! A little bit of ghost exploration never hurt anybody.. or has it?
Disclaimer: This Ghost Tour is NOT RECOMMENDED for children under 10 years old. All proceeds benefit the preservation of the Coronado’s original Grand Barton Organ!
Who knew the Coronado had a bunch of haunted history up their sleeve? I didn’t.
So whether you believe in ghosts or not, this sounds like a fun event to attend – learn a little bit about Rockford and get chills down your spine at the same time! If that’s your ideal type of “fun” for a night out haha.
“Over the years, several of the staff and more than a few visitors have claimed to smell the cigar aroma of the Coronado’s visionary and owner Willard Van Matre, witnessed a shadowy figure float by, or heard a dog barking without cause. Will you? “ – CPAC
