KEOKUK – Roslyn J. Hogan, 75, of Keokuk, died Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2023, at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington, Illinois.

Roslyn was born Feb. 24, 1947, in Burlington, to Harold Max and Maxine Kaiser Richmond.

She married Patrick Hogan on June 27, 1982, in Edina, Missouri. He died Jan 6, 2018.

Roslyn worked as a teacher for Great River Educational Association who worked with children who had special needs. She was also a member of the Women’s Auxiliary of American Legion Post 41 in Keokuk, and Daughters of the American Revolution. One way she served was to drive vets to Iowa City to the VA Hospital.

Surviving family includes four children, Janeen Henderson of Washington, Illinois, Phillip Hogan of Keokuk, Erin Hogan-Law of Iowa, and Brenden Richmond of Arizona; and two grandchildren, Harlen Henderson and Merrick Law.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.

Rosalyn wished to donate her body to the Anatomical Gift Association of Illinois. Memorial services will be held at a later date.1
