Creepy stories and spooky encounters await at One IL Cemetery

I’m sure you know this by now, but Rockford is full of ghosts and terrifying stories, and I’m not talking about crime rates here, so don’t even go there. What I mean are the terrifying stories you can hear and the haunted places you can visit if you are into a good, scary experience.

Take a twilight tour of Rockford’s Greenwood Cemetery

Full disclosure, cemeteries are not my favorite place to be any time of the year or any time of the day because I’m a wimp BUT I can tell a terrible, fascinating experience when I see it.

On Saturday, October 16, 2021, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Haunted Rockford is hosting a Twilight Tour at Greenwood Cemetery in Rockford, and that doesn’t sound like an experience for the faint of heart. Haunted Rockford explains it like this;

The ornate stones of Greenwood Cemetery cover many dark stories. But Kathi Kresol has been researching these stories for many years and will share them during this special tour. These stories will include tragic accidents, horrific murders, and ghostly encounters. It will also include a special tour of Greenwood Chapel.

Prior registration is required for this walking tour and there is a limited number of tickets sold ($ 25 each). Click here now to get them.
