Short Summary:
At around 12:25 p.m. this afternoon, rescue workers were called to the viaduct on 15th Street and Broadway to retrieve a dump truck / garbage truck that is stuck under the bridge and on fire.
Please avoid the area.
Per RPD:
Truck on fire under the bridge on 15th and Broadway. Please avoid the area until further notice.
RPD update:
The garbage truck driver is out and okay. The tracks are closed because they have been damaged. Please find an alternative route until further notice.
