Edward Charles Reimolds Obituary (1962 – 2022) – Galesburg, IL

Mr. Edward “Eddie” Charles Reimolds, 60, of Galesburg, Illinois passed away at 5:43 pm Saturday, July 9, 2022, at his home.
Eddie was born April 13, 1962, the son of Charles Glenn and Phyllis Marlene (Butler) Reimolds.
Left to cherish the memory of Eddie is his mother, Phyllis Thompson of Galesburg; his son, Phillip Reimolds; his daughter, Valerie (Jason) Torrison of Urbana, Illinois; his fiancé, Debra Tucker of Galesburg and her son, Brad (Amber) Saul of Finley; his brother, Dennis (Vicki) Reimolds of Washington, Illinois; his sister, Marci (Chris) Tillman of Independence, Missouri and one grandson, Wyatt. He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Reimolds Jr, his grandparents, Phil and Cleta Butler, Charles and Marcia Reimolds and his stepfather, Larry Thompson.
Eddie grew up in Galesburg, attending Galesburg schools and had played on the Thompson Barber Shop Baseball Team. Eddie served in the US Marine Corp. He worked as a roofer and enjoyed working on race cars. But what Eddie was really known for was his computer skills, often being called a “Computer Geek”. He had a love for gaming, especially World of Warcraft..
Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 pm Thursday, July 14, 2022, at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services Galesburg Chapel. Cremation will follow the visitation and a private family burial will be held at a later date in Warren County Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Blvd. Staten Island, New York, 10306 or to his family. Online condolences may be made at ww.hpw.com
