IWU School of Music presents Christmas choir concert

BLOOMINGTON – Illinois Wesleyan University School of Music will host their annual Christmas Choir Concert on Sunday, December 5th at 3:00 p.m. at Holy Trinity Church, 704 N. Main Street, Bloomington.

The event is public. Tickets are not required, but a suggested donation for adult admission is $ 10, seniors and IWU alumni is $ 5, and students are $ 2.

The concert will be performed by the Collegiate Choir and the University Choir, conducted by J. Scott Ferguson, and the Lincoln-Way West Madrigal Singers, conducted by Holly Manser, as a special guest. The concert includes compositions by Taylor Scott Davis, Gregory Day, Henryk Mikołaj Górecki, Stephen Hopkins, Andrejs Jansons, Karl Jenkins, Euridice Osterman, Kola, Owolabi, Rachel Oxley, Peter Philips and others.

The choristers are masked and distanced. Spectators are asked to wear masks. Holy Trinity is wheelchair accessible. For more information, please call (309) 556-3061.
